One Voice

The theme for 2016 Engage is “One Voice”. This points to the unity required by God to activate His presence. We understand the power of unity that happens when a family, an organisation, a community or nation drops their differences. God gives a clarion call for “Oneness” to his nation so the world can see Him through His Church.

We were led to a scripture in 2 Chronicles 5:11-14

The priests then left the Holy Place. All the priests there were consecrated, regardless of rank or assignment; and all the Levites who were musicians were there—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their families, dressed in their worship robes; the choir and orchestra assembled on the east side of the Altar and were joined by 120 priests blowing trumpets. The choir and trumpets made one voice of praise and thanks to God—orchestra and choir in perfect harmony singing and playing praise to God:

Yes! God is good! His loyal love goes on forever!

Then a billowing cloud filled The Temple of God. The priests couldn’t even carry out their duties because of the cloud—the glory of God! —that filled The Temple of God.

The focus this year is a Mass Choir to represent every Church, race, and expression working together to honour God. We anticipate that such gathering regardless of age, race, gender, status, class, ranks, differences…. with a united purpose, one heart, one voice – to lift up Jesus will result in glory being revealed.

There will be healing, power, salvation and restoration as we sing and minister as one. We pray God will bring a revival in Aberdeen, Scotland and beyond!
